Studio - Session

Independent Studio Session (1,5 hours) This booking is for experienced makers who want focused studio time to work independently with clay. It does not include beginner instruction. Prerequisite (required) You have prior experience working with clay and can work safely without step-by-step guidance. You should be comfortable with: - preparing clay (wedging/kneading) - making basic forms independently (handbuilding and/or wheel throwing) - handling and storing work correctly (covering, labelling, drying) - cleaning your station and tools properly after the session Not suitable for beginners If you are new to clay or the pottery wheel, please book an introductory class first. What’s included - 1,5 hours of studio time - use of studio tools during your booking - a brief orientation to studio routines (setup, cleanup, safety) Please note Clay, firing, glazing, and finishing are available according to the studio’s options/pricing (if applicable). Spots are limited — advance booking required. Please arrive at the studio about 10 minutes before your booked session. This gives us enough time to start on time and allows you to settle in or make yourself a cup of coffee. Please note that long nails can make working with clay more challenging. For the best experience, we recommend keeping your nails relatively short. If you plan to work on the wheel, we recommend booking two consecutive sessions. This usually allows enough time for clay preparation and for cleaning the wheel after your session. If you have long hair, it must be tied back throughout the session, for example with a hair tie.
