Service Description

Second session – engobe decoration After the first session, you can finish your pieces with engobes (coloured clay slips). You will learn simple techniques such as brushing, layering, sgraffito, and pattern work, and you can also smooth and refine the surfaces before the final firing. The course is suitable both for beginners and for those who want to develop their skills further. The pieces need to dry and be fired twice, so they cannot be taken home the same day. Firing times depend on the drying process and current kiln capacity. The first firing turns the clay into ceramic, and the second firing makes the ceramic fully durable for everyday use. You will be notified when your ceramics are ready for collection or shipping. The approximate time is 4–6 weeks. Shipping costs are not included in the activity price.
