Gift card - Private Wheel Throwing Course - 4 Sessions of 3 Hours

Do you dream of truly learning wheel throwing and having the time to develop your craft in a calm and focused setting? In this private course, you will have four in-depth one-to-one sessions where you gradually build technique, confidence, and a feel for working at the pottery wheel.
 
Each session takes place entirely on a one-to-one basis – just you and me in the studio – with personal guidance and generous time at the wheel. We cover everything from the basics of centering and shaping to developing stable, well-balanced forms. You will also learn trimming, decorating, and how to prepare your pieces for glazing.
 
You will get to know clay in depth, work with a range of tools, and have the opportunity to explore different types of forms. The course is fully adapted to your level and creative goals – whether you are a complete beginner or looking to take the next step in your ceramic practice.
 
Between sessions, your pieces will be bisque fired, with opportunities for decoration along the way. After the final session, selected works are glazed and fired, resulting in a durable, functional surface suitable for everyday use. Finished pieces can be collected after a few weeks or shipped directly to you.
 
All materials, tools, glazing, and firings are included, as well as a light fika.
 
Children and teenagers are welcome from the age of 16 but must be accompanied by an adult or have written consent from a parent or legal guardian.
 
The first sessions are scheduled personally together.
